Founded in 2019 by Don and Melissa Stroud, Stroud Seasonings have been carefully crafted using only fresh, quality ingredients for a difference you can taste.
As a home chef Don had difficulty sourcing seasoning blends that were “clean” i.e., without any preservatives, additives, anti-caking agents and other ingredients. In 2012 he developed the first of his seasonings, Fail Safe Seasoning. He then started meticulously blending all-natural ingredients through trial-and-error to find which spices best brought out the flavors of additional foods. Over the next several years Don developed three additional seasoning blends.
Stroud Seasonings offers a variety of all-natural, gluten-free, MSG-free, vegan, preservative-free, additive-free seasoning blends. There are four seasoning blends total: Fail Safe Seasoning, House BBQ Seasoning, Chili Spice Seasoning, and Shore Thing Seasoning.
Fail Safe Seasoning is an all-purpose seasoning to be used on meat, chicken, pork, and vegetables. House BBQ Seasoning is an all-purpose BBQ seasoning for use on anything you plan to put on the grill or smoker and want a high-quality, smoky BBQ flavor. Chili Spice Seasoning is an all-purpose Tex/Mex seasoning for use on a vast array of items such as quesadillas, guacamole, tacos, black bean soup, etc. Shore Thing seafood seasoning is an all-purpose seafood blend for use on all types of seafood – low country boil, salmon, swordfish, lobster, crab boils, etc.
Don created Stroud Seasonings to serve as a “one-stop-shop” for the home cook and wanted the blends to be convenient, all-purpose seasonings that could serve to aid the home cook in preparing his or her meals.
