Ingredients:
- 1 large slab Baby Back Ribs (membrane removed)
- 2 tbsp House BBQ Seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- BBQ sauce of your choice
- 4-5 chunks apple wood
- Heavy duty aluminum foil
- ½ cup apple cider
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- Spray bottle
- Aluminum water pan
Directions:
- Wash ribs under cold water and pat dry
- Coat with olive oil
- Season top and bottom of ribs with House BBQ Seasoning (2 tablespoons should do the trick)
- Mix apple cider and apple cider vinegar together in a spray bottle
- Prepare your charcoal grill for indirect heat at 225-250 degrees Fahrenheit
- Place water pan under grill opposite coals
- Place 2-3 chunks of wood directly on top of coals
- Place ribs on other side of grill over water pan
- Spray ribs every 30 minutes
- Add additional smoking wood as needed
- Once the meat has pulled approximately ½ inch off the bones, double wrap the ribs in aluminum foil spray underneath and on top of the ribs with apple juice/cider mixture
- Cook in grill until tender
- For the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce of your choice and cook over direct heat in order to caramelize the sauce.
