BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 1 large slab Baby Back Ribs (membrane removed)
  • 2 tbsp House BBQ Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • BBQ sauce of your choice
  • 4-5 chunks apple wood
  • Heavy duty aluminum foil
  • ½ cup apple cider
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • Spray bottle
  • Aluminum water pan

Directions:

  1. Wash ribs under cold water and pat dry
  2. Coat with olive oil
  3. Season top and bottom of ribs with House BBQ Seasoning (2 tablespoons should do the trick)
  4. Mix apple cider and apple cider vinegar together in a spray bottle
  5. Prepare your charcoal grill for indirect heat at 225-250 degrees Fahrenheit
  6. Place water pan under grill opposite coals
  7. Place 2-3 chunks of wood directly on top of coals
  8. Place ribs on other side of grill over water pan
  9. Spray ribs every 30 minutes
  10. Add additional smoking wood as needed
  11. Once the meat has pulled approximately ½ inch off the bones, double wrap the ribs in aluminum foil spray underneath and on top of the ribs with apple juice/cider mixture
  12. Cook in grill until tender
  13. For the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce of your choice and cook over direct heat in order to caramelize the sauce.
